Donating cryptocurrency is a non-taxable event. Donors do not owe capital gains tax on the appreciated crypto that is donated and can typically deduct the fair market value of the donation on their taxes. This often makes Bitcoin, Ethereum and other cryptocurrency donations one of the most tax efficient ways to support your favorite cause. Talk to a crypto-savvy tax professional or connect with The Giving Block to get connected with one.

Legacy Giving is about ordinary people making extraordinary gifts! A legacy gift to the Fresno Mission allows you to help secure the vision, life, and mission of this time-tested ministry. Your gift will help ensure that we are not only able to maintain, but can expand God’s ministry through the Fresno Mission, well into the future.

A gift made through your estate provides a lasting legacy of love and support, which directs your earthly treasure to reach souls for Christ. Your foresight now can result in many people entering into the joy of our Lord long after you have entered in yourself. Legacy Giving will ensure the Fresno Mission remains a vital ministry for generations to come!

There are countless ways to support the Fresno Mission through our Foundation. To maximize your gift and meet your individual needs, the Fresno Mission invites you to consider several opportunities:

Do you have a will or revocable living trust? Have you included the Fresno Mission in your estate plan? In light of recent federal estate tax changes, it is a good idea to review your existing estate plan to make sure your current plan reflects your wishes. It’s easy to include the Fresno Mission as a beneficiary in your will or living donordev@fresnomission.org

Promote

Each year, the Fresno Mission hosts events to support our ministries and their efforts to touch lives. But even the smallest event has a cost. By having churches, businesses, organizations, groups, and individuals support and sponsor these events (as well as volunteer), we keep our costs down and free up more opportunities to reach those in need. How can you help?

We typically list all upcoming events and opportunities in the “Save the Date” section of our newsletter as well as our online Events Calendar. Not only will you receive information about upcoming events, but you’ll also see stories about past events and the impact your support has made in their success!

Contact our Event Representatives (below) to:

    • Sponsor the cost and hosting of a meal – download BAM (Bring-A-Meal)
    • Sponsor the cost of the entire event or choose portions of the event you would like to cover. We will provide a list of needs for your convenience.
    • Sponsor a drive to bring in donations toward a specific event or holiday need (such as food items, decorations, clothing, etc.) We like to start drives early to meet great needs, and needs lists are available to provide suggested options.
    • Create a team to choose an area of responsibility and help orchestrate the outcome of a specific event.

Share your gifts and talents as an individual or join a team already in place (we’ll provide instructions on everything you need to do to prepare!)
